I want to connect my watch to Walk to Plant βοΈ
We understand - you want to plant trees while you walk, but you don't want to always have your phone on you!
We've pulled together a step-by-step guide for each major fitness watch. Follow along to make every step count! π³
Connect your Fitbit πͺ
Unfortunately, Fitbit doesn't directly connect to Apple Health or Google Fit. We can still make it work, it just requires using a third party app.
For iPhone π:
We recommend downloading Fitbit to Apple Health Sync. The app is free for syncing daily steps. For a subscription fee, you can can sync historical data and use auto sync. For our purposes, we only need daily steps, so no subscription necessary.
After downloading:
In the app, sign into Fitbit.com using your account details
Pick the fitness fields (in our case: 'Steps') that you want to sync with Apple Health
Click "Sync Now" to start syncing your Fitbit data to Apple Health
For Android π€:
We recommend using Health Sync. It is a paid app, but there is a 1 week free trial to see if it works for you. If you like it, you can either pay in a 1 time payment or via subscription.
We understand the frustration that comes with using these paid third party apps. We will have a better solution for you soon! As always, you can just use your phone to track your steps π³
