Help! How do I cancel a gifted reward?

You can cancel your gift at any time until it has been successfully claimed.
To cancel a gift, please follow the steps below:

  1. In the Treecard app navigate to the ⭐️ Rewards tab

  2. Click on the clock in the top-right corner to see your Rewards History πŸ•–

3. Locate the gift you are looking to cancel

4. Click on See more or cancel - if the gift status is "Not Claimed" you can cancel your gift

5. Select Cancel gift at bottom of the screen, then confirm by selecting "Yes I'm sure"

Once your gift has been canceled, your points will be automatically refunded to you.

Help! I entered a wrong email address

No worries! You can also cancel your gift, to re-send it to the correct email address right away:

  1. In the Treecard app navigate to the ⭐️ Rewards tab

  2. Open your πŸ•– Reward points history (top right corner)

  3. Locate the gift you are looking to cancel and select See more or cancel > Cancel gift

  4. Once you have successfully canceled the gift, please resend it to your friend's correct email address.

Help! My gift is expired

We will only process your gift once your friend has claimed it too. If your friend doesn’t redeem it within 14 days the gift will expire and we will refund your redeemed points to you. πŸ—“

Please remind your friend to check their spam box.

When a gift expires, we'll send you an email to let you know when your gift has been canceled.

Help! I have not received my gift

We will only send your reward once your friend has claimed it too. πŸ‘―

You can check on the status of your gift as follows:

  1. In the Treecard app navigate to the ⭐️ Rewards tab

  2. Click on the clock in the top-right corner to see πŸ•– Reward points history

  3. Locate the gift you are looking to cancel and select See more or cancel

  4. If you see the status Not yet claimed, please remind your friend to claim the gift so we can send it to you.

If your friend doesn’t redeem within 14 days, your gift will expire and we will refund your redeemed points to you. Please remind your friend to check their spam box. Both of you will receive emails from us to keep you in the loop every step of the way.

If your gift has been successfully claimed, it can take up to 30 days for you to receive your reward in the mail.

Help! It's been more than 30 days

Gifting is a new feature for us, and some gifting rewards are a lot more popular than we anticipated!

As a result, we are currently fulfilling a backlog of orders. This may increase the delivery time to 60 days - but we promise that the process will get smoother in the future!

Help! I sent a gift to myself

You can only send gifting rewards to your friends and family. 😊
Sending a gift to yourself, even if you are using a different email address than the one associated with your Treecard account, will fail.

Already tried to send a gift to yourself before you read this? No worries, you can cancel it as follows:

  1. In the Treecard app navigate to the ⭐️ Rewards tab

  2. Open your πŸ•– Reward points history

  3. Locate the gift you are looking to cancel and select See more or cancel > Cancel gift

Help! Why can I not send the houseplant gift to my friend?

Please note that the house plant gift can only be sent to friends that don't already have a Treecard account. However, you can send all other gifts to existing Treecard members.
