How do I set up and manage notifications on my Treecard app?

How do I set up and manage notifications? πŸ“±

Instead of sending text messages, we only send push notifications.

You can view and manage your Treecard notifications settings in the Treecard app as follows:

  1. Click on Settings βš™οΈ on the top right of the home page

  2. Select Notifications in the Personal Settings section

  3. Toggle notifications on and off according to your preferences

What type of notifications can I set up? 🚨

The Treecard app sends the following types of notifications. You can opt-in for the following notifications to always stay up to date:

  • πŸ›‘Legal updates (Required)

  • 🌳 Trees planted

  • ⭐️ Rewards

  • πŸ‘‹ Marketing and promotions

Notifications around legal updates can not be disabled to ensure you are satisfied with how we are running our app!

Why am I not receiving any notifications? πŸ› 

If you aren't receiving notifications, you may need to modify a setting on your phone to enable notifications for your Treecard mobile app.

Follow the instructions to access your push notifications for Android and iOS devices:

Android πŸ€–

On your Android device:

  1. Launch the Settings app. (The icon for this app varies from device to device.)

  2. Tap Application manager. (On some devices, this might be called Apps.)

  3. Scroll through the list of apps and tap Treecard.

  4. Tap Show notifications to turn on push notifications from Treecard.

iOS 🍎

On your iOS device:

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Click Notifications.

  3. A list of apps that support push notifications appears.

  4. Tap the Treecard app to turn on notifications and choose your options: Sounds, Alerts, and Badges can all be turned on or off individually.
